Black Bean Chocolate Mousse Jars

Whilst everyday should be dedicated to showing love to ourselves and those around us, we love the little reminder Valentine’s Day provides.

So why not show you and your loved ones some TLC with these plant-based Black Bean and Chocolate Mousses, featuring our Dairy Free and Organic Chocolate Hazelnut Spread 🍫

INGREDIENTS

3 tbsp hazelnut butter
30ml espresso
50ml plant milk, e.g. hazelnut
1 tbsp cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
½ tsp ground cinnamon
To decorate:
1-2 tsp vegan crème fraîche
Vegan chocolate shavings
Toasted hazelnuts

METHOD

  1. Rinse the black beans well and transfer them into a blender.
  2. Add in hazelnut butter, agave syrup, melted coconut oil, chocolate spread, espresso, plant milk, cocoa powder, salt, cinnamon and lemon juice.
  3. Process until smooth. Make sure to stop the blender regularly to scrape down the sides until you have a smooth chocolate mousse.
  4. Transfer the mousse into small jars and place them in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours to set.
  5. Before serving, decorate the jars with a spoonful of vegan crème fraîche, toasted hazelnuts and vegan chocolate shavings.
