Vegetable and Ancient grain soup

Our favourite way to use our delicious Ancient Grain Mix! The Flaxseed Oil compliments the moreish soup just perfectly by adding a hint of nuttiness – a pure delight!

1/2 cup of Mr Organic Ancient Grain Mix
6 Cups boiling water
1 Cup Sliced Carrots
1/2 Cup Celery, diced
1/4 Cup Onion, chopped
1 Cup Peas
3 Tbsp Mr Organic Flaxseed Oil
1/2 Cup Chopped Parsley (fresh)
1 Cube of Vegetable Stock
Salt & Pepper, to taste


1. Place all the water in a pot and add ancient grain mix. Let boil on medium low heat until grains are tender (roughly 10mins).

2. Put all vegetables and stock cube into the pot and cook until tender.

3. Take off heat and stir in flaxseed oil and parsley.

4. Place in bowls and this warm and hearty soup is ready for eating!
