Homemade Almond Butter with Flaxseed

The perfect way to add some nutritious flaxseed oil to your diet!

1/2 cup almonds
3 Tbsp Mr Organic Flaxseed Oil


1. Add the almonds to a pan and roast them on medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Make sure to stir regularly so they don’t burn. The almonds are ready when they become fragrant.

2. Pour the toasted almonds into a food processor and process until you have a smooth almond butter. Depending on your food processor, this can take about 15-25 minutes. Ensure to turn the processor off and scrape down the sides of the container during the process.

3. Stir in the flaxseed oil and transfer the almond butter to a disinfected jar. Keep it at room temperature and use it up within 4 weeks.
